PBGrabberPBGrabber is short for "Photobucket Grabber". It is a simple utility you can
use to download an entire photo album from Photobucket in a greatly reduced
amount of time. Obviously, this is most useful when you would like to download
someone else's pictures, because if it was your own photo album on Photobucket,
you would probably already have the pictures on your computer.
This program reduces time significantly because it downloads HTML source code
(used for obtaining the URL's of the pictures to download) directly from
Photobucket, so no advertisements will ever load.
All you need to do is Copy/Paste the URL of the Photobucket album you wish to
download into the program window, and select a directory (or create one) to dump
the photos to. Click the start button, and the program will download all of the
pictures in the album to your computer.
Lots of times an album will span more than 1 page on Photobucket's website.
To download the entire album at once (instead of each page individually), click
the "View All" link before you Copy/Paste the URL. You can also add the string
"?start=all" to the end of the URL if you cannot locate the
aforementioned View All link.

PBGrabber runs on the
.NET Framework 2.0.
Sorry for the download. At least you only have to do it once :-)
Photobucket has recently changed their HTML source code, rendering this
program useless. There are no plans of updating the program anytime in the near
future. Sorry. |
